It has been brought to my attention that members are becoming frustrated with the size and number of thumbnails appearing on some posts. Some say it slows load time, others don't want their friends page eaten, and some just want posts to look a bit more tidy. To resolve the issues I'm going to start enforcing a simple thumbnail rule from this post on.
Thumbnail/Preview Image Rule1. Thumbnail images are to be no larger than 300px wide and 200px tall (Do not "resize" an 800x600 image using html, make an actual thumbnail image please!)
2. A maximum of two thumbnail images are permitted above an lj cut.
Previous posts do not have to be updated with new images, unless you really want to. Also this rule does apply to all posts whether it's layouts, twitter backgrounds, profile codes, or resources.
